Medicare is a health insurance program for:
People 65 years of age or older .
People under age 65 with certain disabilities
People of all ages with End-Stage Renal Disease
Medicaid is a joint federal and state program that pays medical costs for those with limited income and resources.
For some, it might be more beneficial to leave their employer health plans for Medicare when turning 65. Ask Peter about this situation.
